JOB DETAILS

Base pay starting at $21.50 per hour, plus $1.50 shift differential for 2nd shift

Shift: 2nd shift - 5:00 pm - 3:30 am, Monday-Friday

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Dock Loader is responsible for loading trucks and trailers in the shipping area with accuracy, safety, and quality awareness. Responsibilities include driving trucks around the lot to load and unload, ensuring daily accuracy for inventory control and accountability.

• Perform duties prioritizing safety, quality, and teamwork
• Scan all products loaded into trucks
• Report safety or quality concerns immediately
• Unload and load trucks and trailers
• Handle windows, glass, and doors manually from production to trailers
• Record exceptions to reduce delays and ensure customer satisfaction
• Manage paperwork, including reading manifests and noting errors
• Communicate discrepancies and trailer load issues
• Ensure product counts match the load list
• Coordinate with team leads and managers for trailer completion
• Use tools like hand trucks, dock carts, and banding devices
• Maintain cleanliness of the dock and trailers

Qualifications

Work Experience

• 1-2 years in loading, preferably in window manufacturing
• Glass handling knowledge preferred
• Trailer moving experience preferred
