Job summary

Trecora is seeking a Loader to review work orders, load and unload materials onto pallets, and operate a forklift in a manufacturing setting in Pasadena, TX. You will also handle inventory logs and support safety, housekeeping, and equipment inspections.

The role requires forklift certification and 1–2 years of bulk loading experience with molten materials, plus familiarity with DCS or control panels and strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Certification as a forklift Operator.
• 1–2 years of related experience in bulk loading of molten materials in a manufacturing or batch plant operation.
• Experience with distributed control systems (DCS) or centralized control panels.
• Solid understanding of process flow, equipment operations, and troubleshooting methods.

Responsibilities

• Stack packaged materials on pallets.
• Operate a forklift.
• Complete inventory log sheets as requested.
• Maintain familiarity of the safe handling, environmental regulations and emergency response for all material in your area.
• Support housekeeping throughout the plant.
• Complete routine inspections of equipment and facilities in your work areas.
• Participate in plant safety processes and immediately report any unsafe conditions.
• Support and conduct the clean-out of process equipment, including confined space entry following OSHA guidelines.
• Provide guidance and oversight of packaging operations to organize packaging between operations, packaging and warehouse; verify lot numbers and report problems.
• Remain current on the requirements of the QMS and support the Trecora Quality Policy towards continual improvement.
• Complete various basic general labor tasks when requested.
• Observe all safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Loader is responsible for reviewing work orders, filling packages and loading and unloading materials on to pallets to be transported out of the facility. Internally transport and load and unload material containers such as tank trucks, railcars, drums and totes.

• Stack packaged materials on pallets.
• Operate a forklift.
• Complete inventory log sheets as requested.
• Maintain familiarity of the safe handling, environmental regulations and emergency response for all material in your area.
• Support housekeeping through-out the plant.
• Complete routine inspections of equipment and facilities in your work areas.

Requirements
