Job summary

Pratt Industries in Statesville, NC seeks a Load Former to support operators by setting up and running the load-forming process, stacking finished boxes, and ensuring quality and on-time production.

Responsibilities include following master instructions, maintaining safety and housekeeping, and assisting with maintenance requests. Experience as a Bundler and an ability to read tape measures are advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6 months’ experience as a Bundler.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow instructions on factory masters.
• Set-up bundler, hold down arm, load former, and delivery end of machine accurately in accordance with proper setup techniques.
• Secure proper cover sheets, tie sheets, and load tags for production runs.
• Stack finished boxes in accordance with factory master.
• Monitor quality of boxes and report quality problems to Operator.
• Ensure correct bundle and unit counts.
• Turn in maintenance work orders for needed repairs and be proactive in equipment maintenance.
• Comply with safety and housekeeping policies.
