Sukup Manufacturing Co. in Sheffield, IA is seeking a material handler to perform a variety of handling tasks to meet shipping demand. The role requires following written and verbal instructions and working in a manufacturing environment, outdoors and indoors as needed.

The position involves 10-hour shifts, standing/walking throughout the shift, and lifting up to 50 pounds as required. Training will cover safety procedures and use of hand tools and forklifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand/walk for entire shift.
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds frequently from waist level.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally from all levels.
• Must be able to grip tools, controls, and product constantly (different sizes and weights).
• Must be able to operate powered industrial forklift control levers.
