Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with a short related experience.
• Forklift certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads materials onto pallets or vehicles and secures with strapping or padding.
• Performs load-building by weighing, composing, and placing items for balanced hauling.
• Reads work orders or follows oral instructions to identify materials.
• Moves materials using forklift, hand truck, or dolly to designated areas.
• Opens containers and labels items for proper identification.
• Follows safety procedures and attends safety meetings as required.
• Other duties may be assigned.
