Job Responsibilities

1. Perform routine loading and unloading of materials within yard or work site; assemble load packages into trucks for delivery to customer job sites.
2. Load and unload materials onto/from pallets, trucks, or customer vehicles; install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
3. Operate various lifting devices (e.g., forklift) to move products, equipment, or materials around the warehouse, shop, or yard.
4. Build loads, ensuring proper weight, composition, and placement based on customer orders and vehicle capacity for safe transportation.
5. Transport materials to/from storage to designated areas using hand trucks, electric dollies, forklifts, or other devices.
6. Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or mark information on containers for correct identification.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, with at least three months of experience performing similar tasks, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Forklift certification is required.
