Job summary

84 Lumber in New York is seeking a yard worker who will build loads for deliveries, load and unload lumber and building supplies, and operate a forklift to keep the yard safe, clean, and efficiently organized. You will follow safety rules, notify management of delays, and help maintain a well‑organized yard.

This full‑time hourly role offers $18.00 per hour and benefits including PTO, health coverage, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information to others one‑on‑one.
• Ability to apply common sense and carry out simple one or two‑step instructions; handle standardized situations with occasional or no variables.
• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
