Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking to fill a non-exempt, on-site position in Houston to support our laundry and order-fulfillment operations. You will receive finished goods, organize them for packing, and ensure accurate, timely delivery by maintaining workflows and reporting shortages or quality concerns.

PPE and safety standards apply. You will count and sort textiles, inspect finished products for quality, and strictly follow written packing instructions and procedures to ensure efficient, accurate

Responsibilities

• Receive finished, cleaned products and organize them for order assembly.
• Review packing requirements and place correct products into designated carts, bins or storage.
• Maintain product flow in the load-building area to support delivery schedules.
• Identify and report shortages, discrepancies, or quality concerns to management.
• Meet productivity, quality, and safety standards, including PPE.
• Log in and out of Spindle productivity system.

You Will

• Receive finished, cleaned products from production departments and organize them for order assembly.
• Review packing requirements and place correct products into designated route carts, bins, or storage locations.
• Maintain product flow in the load-building area to support delivery schedules.
• Identify and report product shortages, discrepancies, or quality concerns to management.
• Meet established productivity, quality, and safety standards, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Log in and out of Spindle (internal productivity tracking system).

What You Bring

Work Environment And Requirements

• You will perform physical tasks throughout the work shift. These tasks include standing and walking for extended periods; reach overhead; push and pull carts or bins; grasp and handle textiles; lift up to 25 pounds; and stoop or bend.
• Work in production areas of an industrial laundry facility may include exposure to temperature variations, humidity, odors, lint, and dust.
