Alsco Uniforms in San Francisco is seeking a production teammate to sort, inspect, and grade textiles and prepare orders for distribution. You will fold, package, and feed items into folding or ironing machinery as required, following production instructions.

This role requires physical activity, standing for long periods, and attention to quality standards; prior textile experience is a plus. Join our team to help ensure top-quality textiles reach customers efficiently in a fast-paced laundry

Qualifications

• Color recognition of textiles (color, size, product type) required.
• Accurate counting and sorting of items.
• Ability to inspect and grade product quality and adhere to standards.
• Capable of following written and verbal packing instructions.

Responsabilités

• Sort, inspect, and grade clean textiles removed from carts or bins.
• Fold, assemble, and package textiles by hand or feed items into ironing or folding machines.
• Process textiles by product type and follow packing instructions to prepare items for distribution.
• Place finished products onto conveyors or into carts and move materials within the production area.
• Record production activity by logging in and out of the Spindle productivity tracking system.

Classification: Non-exempt 20.45/hr

You Will

• Sort, inspect, and grade clean textiles removed from carts or bins to ensure they meet company quality standards.
• Fold, assemble, and package textiles by hand or feed items into ironing or folding machines according to production requirements.
• Process textiles by product type and follow written packing instructions to prepare items for final distribution.
• Place finished products onto conveyors or into carts and move materials within the production area.
• Record production activity by logging in and out of the Spindle productivity tracking system.

What You Bring

• Recognize colors, sizes, and product types.
• Counting and sorting accuracy.
• Skill in inspecting and grading product quality.
• Understanding of written packing instructions and capability to follow verbal and written directions.

Work Environment And Requirements

• You will perform physical tasks throughout the work shift. These tasks include standing and walking for extended periods; reach overhead; push and pull carts or bins; grasp and handle textiles; lift up to 25 pounds; and stoop or bend.
• Work in production areas of an industrial laundry facility may include exposure to temperature variations, humidity, odors, lint, and dust.
