Job summary

UGI Energy Services, LLC in Reading, PA is seeking a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Technician to operate and maintain LNG equipment and systems for ongoing LNG operations and new projects, including LNG fueling for end-use customers and peak shaving applications. Must live within 30 minutes of the Temple LNG plant at 5665 Leesport Ave, Reading, PA 19605.

You will comply with applicable regulations, troubleshoot PLC/HMI issues, interpret P&IDs and PFDs, and work in a shift position including

Qualifications

Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of basic electrical construction tools, materials, and techniques.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations/codes.
Comply with OSHA, UGI, and other safety procedures.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot LNG equipment in LNG operations and projects.
Interpret electrical schematics, P&ID, and PFD diagrams.
Fill out and maintain activity logs per company standards.
Interface with UGI personnel, customers, site representatives, inspectors, and authorities.
Work in a shift position including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
Travel for UGI projects and extended stays at other facilities.
Cross-train and assist in LPG operations; troubleshoot PLC and HMI issues.
