Job summary

UGI Energy Services in Reading, PA seeks a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Technician to operate and maintain LNG equipment and systems for ongoing operations and projects, including LNG fueling for end-use customers.

Must live within 30 minutes of the Temple LNG plant at 5665 Leesport Ave, Reading, PA 19605, and be willing to travel to project sites with overnight stays as needed.

Ideal candidates typically have 3–5 years LNG/industrial maintenance experience and an associate or technical degree.

Qualifications

• Must have associate degree or technical degree.
• 3–5 years of LNG, industrial gases, or industrial maintenance experience.
• Valid Driver’s License; CDL-A with tank and hazmat endorsements a plus.

Responsibilities

• Comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations/codes.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot LNG equipment in LNG operations and projects.
• Interpret electrical schematics, P&ID, and PFD diagrams.
• Fill out and maintain required activity logs.
• Travel for UGI projects, including off-site locations and extended overnight stays.
• Cross-train and assist in LPG operations.
• Work in a shift position, including weekends and overtime.
