Job summary

Worley in Cameron, Louisiana, seeks a senior mechanical engineer to provide technical leadership for LNG projects, focusing on rotating and packaged equipment construction, start‑up and commissioning.

You will interpret designs for site conditions, oversee construction supervision, and coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure safety, quality and on‑time startup. 12+ years in heavy industrial LNG/oil & gas required; PE preferred.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in mechanical engineering within LNG, oil & gas or energy sector.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with rotating equipment and heavy industrial construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and ensure delivery of high‑quality engineering solutions.
• May provide or lead on‑site support for construction, commissioning, or turnover.
• Oversee site supervision and verify adherence to design specifications and safety rules.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to support integrated project delivery.
• Lead commissioning/start‑up activities and equipment handover to operations.
