Job summary

Worley Group, Inc. is seeking a senior mechanical engineering leader for LNG projects in Cameron, Louisiana. The role focuses on rotating equipment, steam turbine expertise, construction support, start-up, and commissioning.

You will interpret designs for site conditions, oversee construction supervision, and approve completed tasks to ensure compliance with specifications. Candidates should have extensive experience in LNG/oil & gas, strong leadership and communication skills, and a proven

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in mechanical engineering within LNG, oil & gas or energy sector.
• Minimum 15 years of engineering experience in heavy industrial construction projects.
• Strong background in discipline work and understanding of industry standards (API 612, 617, 614; NFPA 59A).
• Rotating equipment expertise and reliability focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
• May provide on-site support for construction, commissioning, or turnover.
• Oversee site construction and mechanical completion of critical rotating assets.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for integrated project delivery.
• Support procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Ensure adherence to specifications, codes, and good practice.
• Interface with clients and stakeholders for successful outcomes.
• Lead equipment checkout, testing, and handover during start-up.
