Job summary

Mubadala Energy is seeking an experienced Site Representative for the Commonwealth LNG project in Houston and Louisiana. The role focuses on on-site oversight of procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up activities to protect shareholder value and ensure safe, compliant execution.

The successful candidate will bring 20+ years in large LNG projects, strong leadership, and expert communication with operators, EPCs, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of experience in procurement, construction, and commissioning of large LNG plants in North America.
• Direct experience on LNG projects >8 MTPA.
• Site-based roles supporting major capital projects through execution, commissioning, start-up, and handover.

Responsibilities

• Promote HSSE leadership and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company standards.
• Represent Mubadala Energy at project sites in Houston and Louisiana; interface with operator, EPC contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Monitor project execution to align with objectives, contracts, and expectations; provide field insights on progress, risks, and opportunities.
• Oversee procurement, construction, commissioning activities focusing on safety, quality, productivity, and handover readiness.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership and support governance reviews with fact-based reporting.
• Coordinate with Mubadala Energy functions to ensure alignment before external escalation.
