Job summary

Golden Pass LNG in Sabine Pass, Texas, seeks a seasoned Project Engineer to coordinate design, fabrication and installation of LNG projects with a strong emphasis on safety, environmental integrity, and stakeholder interfaces across EPCs and Golden Pass functions.

You will develop project deliverables, lead gate materials, and support budgeting and scheduling across lifecycle activities, including commissioning and turnover to Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil or related Engineering or Project Management
• 10+ years in industrial engineering or operations (LNG, refining, petrochemical)
• Experience with cryogenic systems and full lifecycle project engineering (CAPEX $1M+)

Responsibilities

• Lead project scope definition and develop gate-ready deliverables (plans, cost, schedule)
• Coordinate interfaces with contractors and Golden Pass functions
• Prepare gate materials and funding packages for decisions
• Manage cost reporting, budgets, and cashflow
• Oversee bid packages, vendor quotes, and procurement coordination
• Ensure documentation alignment with Golden Pass standards (MOC, redlines)
• Lead safety reviews, risk assessments, and operability readiness activities
• Coordinate commissioning, pre-startup checks, and handover to operations
• Staff projects and manage onboarding/demobilization processes
• Support continuous improvement and lessons learned sessions
