Job summary

Venture Global LNG is seeking a Production Engineer to join the CP2 Facility team in Cameron, LA. The role reports to the Manager of Production Engineering and focuses on optimizing the Availability and Performance of the CP2 LNG Trains and supporting the Facility Production System.

Responsibilities include setting daily targets, building real-time surveillance models, analyzing deviations, identifying improvement initiatives, and leading or contributing to EIRs and MoCs to maximize LNG rundown

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Process, Production/Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Production Engineer with proven performance improvements.
• Oil and Gas experience required, LNG preferred; other hydrocarbon processing may be acceptable.
• Must maintain a TWIC card in good standing.
• Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license.
• Position located in Cameron, LA with travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set CP2 Facility LNG Trains Production daily targets, define operating limits and develop the Production Plan.
• Build and maintain real-time surveillance and monitoring models to optimize train availability and performance.
• Perform analyses to detect deviations and identify actions to maximize LNG rundown.
• Identify short-, medium-, and long-term improvement initiatives to maximize LNG rundown.
• Identify production risks and develop mitigation plans to address them.
• Provide input to weekly/monthly Production reviews and follow up on actions.
