Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation seeks an Associate Process Engineer – LNG in Overland Park, KS and Houston, TX to contribute to front-end and detailed design across projects. You will apply advanced engineering techniques, perform analyses, and support multidisciplinary teams on energy and LNG processing facilities.

You will prepare complex deliverables, evaluate equipment and materials, ensure conformance with standards, and coordinate with internal and external teams while focusing on safety,

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 3 years of related work experience.
• Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search).
• Strong knowledge of engineering design principles and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepares a variety of complex engineering deliverables.
• Performs complex research and recommends equipment/materials.
• Prepares complex engineering calculations following standard methods.
• Plans and conducts independent evaluation and adaptation of engineering techniques.
• Reviews lower level engineering work and ensures schedule, budget, and quality.
