Job summary

Woodside Energy in Houston, TX is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to drive compliance across the Louisiana LNG project lifecycle, from development through handover to Operations. The role partners with Engineering, Construction, Environmental, and EPC contractors to ensure timely regulatory deliverables and sound permitting strategies.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of regulatory processes and compliance for major energy projects.
  • Experience supporting regulatory activities across project lifecycle.
  • Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for regulators and teams.
  • Experience with LNG, natural gas, or petrochemical projects preferred.
  • FERC and federal regulatory frameworks familiarity desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Support regulatory program across all project phases.
  • Develop and implement regulatory strategies.
  • Coordinate submissions and regulatory deliverables.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Review engineering deliverables for regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor regulatory commitments and filing schedules.
  • Prepare regulatory summaries and reports.
  • Build relationships with project teams and regulators.
