Consolidated Edison Company of New York is seeking an Engineer to support LNG plant, gas facility, and related gas infrastructure projects through field and office-based activities.

Responsibilities include engineering analysis, field investigations, design implementation support, contractor reviews, and documentation for procurement, construction, operational readiness, maintenance, and safe project execution.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with 2 years of gas systems/ HVAC experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with 3 years of gas systems/HVAC experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsabilités

• Perform engineering assignments of moderate to high complexity and prepare technical reports and specifications.
• Support LNG plant, gas facility and related projects from design through construction and commissioning.
• Prepare or review design packages, RFIs, submittals, specifications, drawings, and project records.
• Perform cost-benefit analyses and conceptual studies to support design decisions.
• Prepare or support budgets and project calculations; coordinate with outside consultants and staff.
• Provide field support during construction, testing, commissioning, maintenance and emergency response; travel to sites as required.
