Job summary

Kinder Morgan's Elba Island LNG facility in Savannah, GA is seeking an Operator to monitor and control cryogenic systems, turbines, pumps and related equipment. You will ensure safe, reliable gas handling and meet regulatory requirements as part of a broader operations team.

The role requires 12-hour rotating shifts, willingness to travel, and a strong mechanical aptitude with a focus on safety, efficiency, and teamwork in a demanding industrial setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of compressor, pump and general processing plant operations.
• Ability to analyze, adjust and perform minor repairs on equipment.
• Obtain and maintain Operator Qualifications (OQ) including gas detection, inspections, and valve maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Resolve abnormal conditions and take appropriate action.
• Start, stop and operate engines, pumps and equipment to maintain parameters.
• Assist in maintenance and repairs of compressors and pumps.
• Unload LNG ships safely and deliver natural gas to pipelines.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance; participate in training.
• Work 12-hour rotating shifts; overtime and travel may be required.
