Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Nursing Assistant for an onsite role at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital. You will provide basic nursing care, assist patients with daily activities, and take vital signs during night shifts (7pm–7am). Cross-training to scrub into the OR for C-sections is included.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, NH LNA license, and BLS certification. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential for patient care and teamwork.

Job Summary

Salary range: $19.47 - $31.09

$750 Sign on Bonus!

7pm - 7am

Responsible for providing basic nursing care which includes assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, mobility, and toileting. Also responsible for taking vital signs, obtaining specimens, observing and reporting information and basic first aid.

Will cross train to scrub into OR to assist with C-Sections.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No
• Licenses and Credentials: Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers required; Nursing Assistant [LNA - New Hampshire] - New Hampshire Board of Nursing required
• Experience: Clinical/Medical Office/Managed Care Experience 1-2 years preferred or Nursing Assistant Experience 0-1 year preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledgeable in general nursing assistant practices, personal care and basic medical services.
• Knowledgeable of patient rights, privacy and confidentiality.
• Demonstrates sensitivity to the needs of patients and employees.
• Understands and is committed to maintaining highest level of confidentiality and adheres to policies on confidentiality.
• Good communication skills both written and oral.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds independently.
