WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  1. Manage financial performance and results, including meeting or exceeding budget expectations
  2. Control costs on labor, F&B, liquor, and manage labor costs including overtime
  3. Assist in developing monthly and quarterly specials and events
  4. Manage staff hours to stay within budget and complete necessary paperwork
  5. Supervise bartenders, sharks, portable bars, and cocktail staff daily
  6. Assist with monthly inventory and recruitment, training, and management of staff
  7. Conduct evaluations, set goals, and propose raises
  8. Maintain open communication, hold staff meetings, and monitor staff progress
  9. Provide ongoing training, oversee cross-training, and ensure staffing levels
  10. Maintain positive staff relations, coordinate training programs, and supervise venue trainers
  11. Conduct audits, alcohol awareness classes, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol policies
  12. Oversee operations including service standards, housekeeping, incident reports, and environmental standards
  13. Coordinate private and special events, assist with various venue operations, and perform other duties as assigned

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Required:

  • State or County Responsible Alcohol Awareness Certification or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of high-volume restaurant/club operations experience
  • 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • High School Diploma required

Preferred:

  • College Degree in related field
  • Responsible Alcohol Service certification, T.I.P.S. certification or equivalent

Physical Demands/Working Environment:

  • Fast-paced environment with moderate to loud noise
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
  • Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends
  • Extended standing, bending, and stooping required
  • Ability to wear a radio earpiece
