The Job

The 3D Visualization Concept Artist is a key creative contributor within the Concept Studio, responsible for producing and shaping the studio’s 3D visual output across immersive hospitality and entertainment environments — from early ideation through concept development and final presentation materials. The role requires a proactive, highly engaged team member who translates conceptual thinking into compelling visual narratives and high-quality 3D spatial renderings. The ideal candidate is a strong spatial thinker and experienced 3D artist with expertise in spatial visualization for branded interiors, hospitality design, and entertainment venues.

Reports to the Head of Concept Studio and collaborates with Concept Directors and internal Blueprint Studio teams to support the full concept process—from blue-sky ideation and storytelling through concept development, visualization production, and presentation delivery.

What This Role Will Do
  • Creative Concept Development
    • Participate in the creation and evolution of venue concepts for new and existing entertainment and hospitality spaces, from scalable concepts to bespoke solutions.
    • Translate brand identity, storytelling, business opportunities, and operational needs into immersive 3D spatial experiences.
    • Contribute to foundational creative thinking and develop compelling 3D concepts and renderings that communicate design intent.
  • Spatial & Experiential Design
    • Materialize concepts into interior environments with attention to atmosphere, lighting, mood, scale, materiality, and guest experience.
    • Support the design and visualization of branded environments, including hospitality spaces, clubs, lounges, VIP areas, F&B concepts, and large venues.
    • Ensure FF&E, materials, signage, lighting, and architectural details align with the overall concept direction.
  • Studio Collaboration & Ownership
    • Act as an engaged, accountable member of the Concept Studio, proactively managing workstreams.
    • Collaborate with Blueprint internal design teams and consultants.
    • Participate in creative reviews, brainstorming, and collaborative development; help maintain consistency and quality across projects.
    • Contribute to studio culture through collaboration, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability.
    • Advance 3D visualization excellence and explore new tools and workflows to maximize efficiency.
  • Visualization & Technical Skills
    • Produce high-quality renderings, presentations, and visual assets.
    • Integrate AI tools and emerging visualization technologies into the creative process.
    • Build and manage 3D models for concept studies and presentations.
    • Adapt level of detail for different stages of the creative process and produce fast iterative visuals as needed.
    • Work efficiently within project schedules and evolving priorities.
Experience & Background
  • 7–12 years of experience in 3D visualization, experiential design, hospitality design, branded environments, entertainment design, interior architecture, or concept development.
  • Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Design or Architecture preferred.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating concept-driven environments, visual sophistication, and atmosphere/materiality.
  • Experience on 3D visualization for hospitality, nightlife, entertainment, retail, or branded interior projects.
  • Experience collaborating within a design studio and with cross-functional teams preferred.
  • Understanding of conceptual creativity and real-world implementation constraints.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and strong post-production skills.
  • Strong 3D modeling and visualization skills using tools such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, Rhino, Revit, AutoCAD, or similar.
  • Strong rendering and AI visualization capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate ideas clearly through 3D imagery and presentations.
Mindset & Approach
  • Proactive, self-motivated, organized, and accountable, with the ability to manage own scope, timelines, and deliverables across multiple projects.
  • Collaborative, curious, and iterative, with strong communication and problem-solving through design.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced studio with shifting priorities and quick-turn deliverables.
  • Ability to convey ideas through visual, verbal, and written presentation; balance blue-sky creativity with practical realities.
  • Passionate about storytelling through space and creating emotionally resonant experiences for fans and artists.
  • Takes pride in craft, quality, and visual impact with ownership over process and final output.

Location: Preferably in NYC (3 days in office, 2 days remote). References: provide CV, portfolio, and three employer/client references.
