Spinal Recovery and Joint Center in Warren, MI seeks a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) to join a collaborative chiropractic and rehabilitation team. This full-time role involves hands-on patient care, massage therapy, and support duties to enhance the patient experience.

Expect consistent weekday hours (Mon-Thu 8:00–6:00, Fri 8:00–1:00) with no weekends, located in Warren, MI. The position emphasizes patient comfort, movement improvement, and teamwork with chiropractors and other healthcare

Qualifications

• Active Michigan Massage Therapy License.
• Graduation from an approved massage therapy program or completion of an apprenticeship.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge and experience with multiple massage techniques (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, Shiatsu, hot stone, Thai, sports).
• Strong communication, customer service, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 30- and 60-minute sessions tailored to patient needs and care plans.
• Use various massage techniques to support comfort and treatment goals.
• Prepare rooms, position patients, and ensure a welcoming experience.
• Assist with patient use of traction and spinal decompression equipment.
• Complete X-ray-related duties within scope and authorization.
• Coordinate appointments with front desk and follow-ups.
• Maintain clean, organized treatment areas and shared spaces.
• Monitor linens and supplies; restock as needed.
• Inspect therapy equipment for safety and cleanliness.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Maintain clean, organized treatment areas and shared clinic spaces.
• Monitor linens and supplies, restocking items as needed.
• Inspect therapy equipment for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
• Adhere to infection control, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Provide additional support for daily clinic operations as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Active Michigan Massage Therapy License.
• Graduation from an approved massage therapy program or completion of an apprenticeship.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge and experience with multiple massage techniques, such as Swedish, deep tissue, Shiatsu, hot stone, Thai, or sports massage.
• Strong communication, customer service, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and push equipment or objects weighing up to 300 pounds.

Preferred Experience

• One or more years working in a healthcare, wellness, or clinical setting.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
