Spinal Recovery and Joint Center (SRJC) in Warren, MI is seeking a licensed massage therapist (LMT) to join our collaborative chiropractic and rehabilitation team. You will provide therapeutic massage to support pain relief, mobility, and overall wellness in a weekday schedule with potential earnings of $30–$55 per hour.

The role offers a base pay of $15/hr during chiropractic assistant duties plus commission, with health benefits, PTO, and growth opportunities in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an approved massage therapy program or apprenticeship.
• Active Michigan Massage Therapy License.
• Experience with multiple massage modalities (deep tissue, Swedish, etc.).
• Strong communication, customer service and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet physical demands (standing, lifting, pushing).

Responsibilities

• Deliver 30- and 60-minute massage sessions per treatment plan.
• Prepare treatment spaces and ensure patient comfort before/after sessions.
• Assist with patient positioning on traction and spinal decompression equipment.
• Perform X-ray duties as directed and trained.
• Coordinate follow-up visits and schedule needs with front desk.
• Keep treatment areas clean and organized for patients.
• Track supplies and manage clinic linens.
• Check equipment for safety and proper function.
• Follow sanitation and workplace safety procedures.
• Support other clinic duties as assigned.

Your Role

As our Licensed Massage Therapist, you'll deliver individualized therapeutic massage services while assisting with select clinic activities that support patient care and daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide 30- and 60-minute therapeutic massage sessions according to patient treatment plans
• Prepare treatment spaces and help patients feel comfortable before and after their sessions
• Assist patients with positioning on traction and spinal decompression equipment
• Perform X-ray duties as directed and within applicable training and authorization
• Coordinate follow-up visits and communicate scheduling needs with front desk staff
• Keep treatment rooms and shared clinical spaces clean, orderly, and ready for patients
• Track supplies, replenish inventory, and manage clinic linens
• Check therapy equipment for cleanliness, safety, and proper working condition
• Follow established sanitation, infection prevention, and workplace safety procedures
• Support other clinic responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications
Required

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of an approved massage therapy education program or apprenticeship
• Current, active Michigan Massage Therapy License
• Experience with multiple massage modalities, such as deep tissue, Swedish, Shiatsu, hot stone, Thai, or sports massage
• Strong interpersonal, communication, customer service, and organizational skills
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including prolonged standing, lifting up to 25 pounds, and pushing up to 300 pounds

Preferred

• At least one year of experience in a healthcare or clinical environment
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar computer programs

Compensation Details

• This position combines hourly base pay for Chiropractic Assistant duties with additional earnings from massage therapy services.

Base Pay

• $15.00 per hour while performing Chiropractic Assistant responsibilities

Massage Therapy Compensation

• 50% of gross receipts for cash-pay and commercial insurance massage sessions
• $75 per massage for workers' compensation and auto insurance sessions
• Potential Total Earnings: Approximately $30-$55 per hour, depending on massage volume, productivity, and applicable reimbursement.
