Job Details:

Dear candidate, we welcome you to apply for a rewarding and lucrative career in Early Intervention. We are a boutique agency specializing in providing services to children with ASD. If you have a passion for working with children and families, this could be your calling.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop creative programs and activities for children with developmental disabilities in order to improve social and cognitive functions
  • Encourage the child’s participation in goal-oriented activities
  • Work closely with families to provide information and skills necessary to enhance the development of the child
  • Work with families and other service providers to achieve a child’s IFSP or EIP goals
  • Provide services in home, school-based and daycare centers
  • Daily data collection
  • Maintain regular progress reports and attend meetings related to the child

Requirements:

  • Certified in New York State as a Teacher of:
    • Special Education
    • Students with Disabilities Birth-2
  • OR
  • LMSW
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Good technical skills and the ability to learn new databases

Preferred:

  • Bilingual a plus
  • Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis and Special Instruction preferred but will train
  • Experience working in home-based programs, schools or daycares
