Job summary

College of Health Care Professions is seeking an LMRT Instructor to train new hires and oversee student interns on a hybrid campus. The role emphasizes ethical conduct, sound educational practices, and the academic development of each student while delivering the curriculum to achieve educational goals.

The instructor will manage classrooms, provide support and tutoring, and model professional behaviors expected of students. A passion for teaching and student success is essential.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) program or certificate with 3 years of experience or completion of a Radiologic Technology Associate Degree with 2 years of experience.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • A passion for teaching, mentoring and student success.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize classroom and lab instruction, student assessment, and classroom management to provide an engaged classroom experience.
  • Ensure students are presented with material to meet learning objectives.
  • Prepare weekly lesson plans and follow syllabi to maintain pace and requirements.
  • Maintain and ensure instructional materials and equipment are ready and in working order.
  • Participate in ongoing faculty assessment and professional development activities; maintain required certifications and licensure.
  • Monitor attendance and report to registrars office; ensure compliance with federal/state guidelines.
