Job summary

The College of Health Care Professions (CHCP) is seeking a Licensed Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) Instructor. The role focuses on competency-based education and delivering high-quality instruction across residential and blended formats to prepare graduates for the evolving healthcare marketplace.

The instructor will promote a culture of lifelong learning, ethics, and professional development, supporting students through timely feedback, assessments, and engagement with industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Provides competency-based education aligned with the CHCP model of curricula and institutional delivery.
• Designs and delivers class instruction for residential and blended delivery with instructional plans.
• Aims for exit competencies and evaluates student learning with clear performance criteria.
• Maintains an online blended and in-person classroom environment conducive to learning and student success.
• Provides weekly feedback to students and supports struggling learners to improve.
• Promotes student success by flexible teaching styles and engagement with learners.
• Manages the learning environment, attendance, grades, and reports in a timely manner.
• Attends general faculty, departmental, and campus-wide meetings and serves on committees.
• Connects professional/industry experience to learning and stays updated on trends.
• Answers program-content questions and participates in Program Advisory Committee meetings annually.
• Other duties as assigned.
