Join Our Team as an LMR Embedded Program Manager!

Overview

We are seeking an experienced LMR Embedded Program Manager to oversee the successful execution of our Land Mobile Radio (LMR) programs worldwide. This is a contract position for 2 years, based in the San Francisco, CA or New York, NY area, with a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities
  1. Project Management:
    • Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines.
    • Track progress, identify risks, and address challenges.
    • Coordinate cross-functional teams.
    • Manage budgets and resources.
    • Oversee project closeouts and lessons learned.
  2. Technical Expertise:
    • Review and approve design packages.
    • Coordinate with design teams for documentation.
    • Oversee equipment and material procurement.
    • Explain LMR system principles to stakeholders.
  3. Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain client relationships.
    • Communicate effectively to understand needs.
    • Address concerns and resolve issues.
    • Participate in stakeholder meetings and report progress.
    • Mentor team members and foster collaboration.
  4. Quality Assurance:
    • Implement quality control measures.
    • Conduct quality reviews and audits.
    • Address quality issues promptly.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
  • Experience in project management, preferably in communications.
  • Strong knowledge of LMR systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Smartsheets, Google Workspace, CAD, Bluebeam, Autodesk).
Preferred Skills
  • Certifications like PMP, Six Sigma, or Lean Six Sigma.
  • Experience with specific LMR systems and FCC licensing.
  • Knowledge of construction and facility management.
