Job description

Operational home base: any airport within a 150km radius from our Headquarter

Since 1978, our Group has been constantly growing and innovating to offer its customers increasingly efficient maritime, land, air, and logistics solutions. Driven by a strong desire to design ever more effective solutions to serve a world in motion, the CMA CGM Group has built a comprehensive global transport network. In May 2025, Air Belgium became part of this dynamic, strengthening the Group’s air cargo capabilities.

Founded in 2016 with headquarters in Mont-Saint-Guibert, Belgium, Air Belgium now focuses exclusively on cargo operations out of Belgian airports carried out on its own behalf and on behalf of third‑party customers via ACMI and charter. Currently operating a fleet of 2 Boeing 747‑8 aircraft primarily serving routes to China and destinations worldwide, Air Belgium is poised for growth with plans to expand its fleet in 2027, further reinforcing the CMA CGM Group’s position as a leading player in global air freight.

Your Role:

To ensure good coordination between line maintenance providers and minimise the impact of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the ability of the fleet to operate the scheduled flights.

What are you going to do?

  • Ensure accurate reporting over the technical disruptions and AIMS data accuracy on the matter.
  • Monitor deferred defects, communicate to all affected stakeholders on generated impacts and plan corrective actions with the contracted Maintenance.
  • Act as the central coordination and communication point in case of AOG. This includes parts ordering and logistics, MRO liaison, internal and external customers reporting on progress, and out‑of‑hours liaison with the OEM and providers AOG support. Ensure accurate AIMS update accordingly.
  • Monitor active fleet via in‑flight monitoring and reporting systems (Boeing AHM) to anticipate technical issues and mitigate operational impacts.
  • Technical support to active flight crew over experience technical issues.
  • Day to day line maintenance planning adjustment as required.
