Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking compiler engineers to develop LLVM- and MLIR-based components for the Hexagon DSP, enabling high-performance ML and multimedia workloads on Snapdragon devices. You will collaborate with hardware and software teams to optimize code generation and performance.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with LLVM, MLIR, GCC, or another production compiler framework.
  • Strong programming skills in modern C/C++ and large software codebases.
  • 2+ years of compiler or tools experience in industry or academia.

Responsibilities

  • Develop LLVM- and MLIR-based compiler components for Qualcomm’s Hexagon DSP.
  • Improve ML compiler lowering and optimization pipelines for efficient execution on Qualcomm hardware.
  • Use profiling and benchmark data to drive performance and code size improvements.
  • Debug correctness and code generation issues across MLIR, LLVM IR, assembly, and generated code.
  • Analyze software requirements, consult with architecture and HW engineers, and design software solutions.
