Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking compiler engineers to help us develop the LLVM-based compilation suite for Qualcomm’s Hexagon DSP, enabling high performance for ML, wireless, audio and image processing on Android.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5 years or more of compiler engineering experience in industry or academia.
• Knowledge and experience in compiler frameworks such as LLVM or gcc.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, and enhance different components of the compiler.
• Analyze performance, code size and other metrics to identify compiler improvements.
• Analyze software requirements, determine the feasibility of design within constraints, consult with architecture and HW engineers, and propose software solutions for Qualcomm's SOCs.
• Analyze system level integration issues, interface with the software development, integration and test teams.
• Develop and execute benchmark and test scenarios for compilers.
