Position Summary: As a Leasing Consultant, you will be the primary contact for prospective residents, responsible for marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to meet occupancy, revenue, and retention goals. Your duties include conducting tours, processing applications, ensuring apartments are move-in ready, and maintaining excellent resident relations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct sales and leasing activities to meet community goals, including greeting prospects, showing apartments, processing applications, and performing background checks.
  • Prepare lease and move-in documentation for a smooth resident onboarding.
  • Inspect apartments prior to move-in and coordinate with maintenance for any issues.
  • Stay informed on market and competitor conditions affecting occupancy and sales.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans to sustain occupancy, following community policies on concessions and specials.
  • Utilize property management software (e.g., Yardi) to track availability, traffic, and resident data.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to resident and prospect inquiries, addressing concerns effectively.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous leasing experience is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office; Yardi experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license may be required.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a desire to succeed in a competitive environment.

Work Hours: Typically Monday-Friday with rotating weekends; hours may vary based on property needs.

Work Location: Onsite at our properties, in an office environment with exposure to outside elements.
