Summary: As a Leasing Consultant, you will be the primary contact for prospective residents, playing a key role in ensuring a welcoming environment. Your responsibilities include marketing, leasing, and renewal activities to meet occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals, along with providing excellent resident service throughout the lease term.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct leasing activities including greeting prospects, tours, application processing, credit screening, and background checks.
  2. Prepare lease and move-in documentation for a smooth resident transition.
  3. Inspect apartments prior to move-in, ensuring readiness and coordinating maintenance as needed.
  4. Stay informed about market and competitor conditions affecting occupancy and sales.
  5. Develop and execute marketing plans to sustain occupancy, adhering to community policies on concessions and specials.
  6. Utilize property management software (e.g., Yardi) to track availability, traffic, leasing activities, and resident data.
  7. Respond promptly and courteously to resident and prospect inquiries, addressing concerns effectively.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous leasing experience is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Office; Yardi experience is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license may be required.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a desire to excel in a competitive environment.
Work Hours:

Typically Monday-Friday with rotating weekends; hours may vary based on property needs.

Work Location:

Onsite at our properties, involving both office and outdoor environments.
