The Governor Charles B. Aycock Birthplace State Historic Site, part of the State of North Carolina - Natural and Cultural Resources, is seeking an Historical Interpreter I to lead tours and living history programs.

You will engage visitors, coordinate school group visits, and support exhibit research and maintenance. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and experience with museum tours or living history.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience giving museum tours preferred.
• Experience with living history interpretation and/or historic trades preferred.
• Experience managing social media and using Canva or similar editing software preferred.

Mansioni

• Coordinate school and general tours for visitors.
• Deliver guided tours and living history demonstrations.
• Assist with event planning, promotions, and rentals.
• Research topics for educational programs and exhibits.
• Manage clerical duties, operate gift shop, and help with site maintenance.
