Select Sires, Inc. in Westby, Wisconsin is seeking a Livestock Technician to join our production team. This full-time, hourly role supports cattle handling, semen collection, and daily production activities to provide top dairy and beef genetics.

Starting wage is $19.00+ per hour. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to work safely around cattle. You will operate farm equipment, monitor cattle health, and contribute to a collaborative, quality-driven team

Responsibilities

• Collect semen using established safety protocols.
• Handle bulls to stimulate semen collection.
• Feed, clean, move, and monitor dairy and beef cattle.
• Support health testing, veterinary treatments, and hoof-trimming activities.
• Operate company vehicles, trucks, trailers, and farm equipment.
• Maintain facilities, equipment, and work areas.
• Follow biosecurity, safety, and production quality standards.
• Collaborate with team to achieve production goals.
