Experience
3 years to less than 5 years experience required.
Work must be completed on site; no remote work available.
Job Functions
- Chicken, goat, hog and pig, livestock combination, sheep, poultry, and egg production.
- Handle tasks in all weather conditions; work in dusty, hot, and odorous environments.
- Perform animal care including grooming, feeding, and health monitoring.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
- Milk goats and cows, both by hand and with machinery.
- Create feeding programs, maintain livestock performance records, and manage feed inventory.
- Prepare clean, dry areas for calving cows and safekeeping of newborn animals.
- Operate water and temperature systems for barns and coops, ensuring proper animal welfare.
- Organize, execute, and report on daily farm activities.
