Job summary

Green Rise Foods Inc. in Canada is seeking a dependable farm worker for on-site vegetable and fruit handling in a rural setting. You will perform planting, irrigation, harvesting, packing, and general farm maintenance as part of a busy team.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to stand for long periods, and the readiness to work in hot or cold conditions. Starts early 2027 with no remote option.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lb).
• Willingness to work outdoors in rural areas and in heat/cold conditions.

Responsibilities

• Clean the crops
• Cultivate on vertical farming system
• Cut agricultural crops
• Cut agricultural seed according to farm standards
• Grade vegetables and fruits by size, shape, colour and volume
• Greenhouse cleaning
• Pack fruits and vegetables
• Pick row and orchard crops
• Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
• Remove manually all suckers and water sprouts
• Seed cutting
• Sort fruits and vegetables
• Tie and secure plants
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment

• Salary 17.95 hourly / 30 to 60 hours per week
