Job summary

H2ajobs is seeking farm laborers to feed, water, monitor, and herd livestock on a farm in the United States. The role requires handling animals, maintaining clean facilities, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities include examining animals, segregating by weight and age, and performing routine yard tasks. Housing and meals are employer-provided; some transportation support is offered. English speaking ability is required.

Qualifications

• English language required for basic communication with team and supervisors.
• Physically demanding, includes lifting up to 50 pounds and long periods of standing.
• Background check will be conducted post-hire at the employer's expense due to farm safety considerations.
• A valid driver's license may be required within 30 days of hire for farm operations.

Responsibilities

• Feed and water livestock and monitor feed and water supplies.
• Herd animals to pastures for grazing or to enclosures or scales as needed.
• Examine animals for illness, injury, or disease and check physical condition.
• Segregate animals by weight, age, color, and condition; move between areas as required.
• Clean stalls, pens, and equipment using disinfectants and tools.
• Shift animals between grazing areas to ensure access to food; remove ice from water.
