Job summary

FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES OF SUNCOAST LLC is seeking a Livescan Specialist to join our team in Largo, FL. You will perform criminal and civil background screenings, schedule appointments, and capture fingerprints for applicants and staff in compliance with state policy.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least four years of computer work, and knowledge of criminal justice concepts. Proficiency in Excel/Word and a valid driver’s license are required for this on-site role.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word; familiarity with PowerPoint is a plus.
• Four years of computer work experience; knowledge of law or criminal justice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for Livescan clients; includes scheduling appointments and capturing fingerprints.
• Collect documentation, personal information, live scan data or fees required for background screenings.
• Assist in Diligent Searches.
• Participate in training and development activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
