Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff seeks a Surgical Tech - Certified Surgical Tech to support liver transplant procedures and related surgeries. The role includes weekend shifts, floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliates, and adherence to strict infection control protocols.

Daily case volume expectations and a substantial on-call schedule are noted. Candidates must have 2+ years of experience, transplant experience, and be in possession of required certifications.

Qualifications

• Must scrub liver recipient transplants independently.
• Experience with large open belly cases required.
• Proficiency in aseptic technique essential.
• Skills in general, urology, thoracic, gynecology, plastics, Whipple, liver resection and liver transplant are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Support liver transplant procedures and assist during surgeries.
• Floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliates as needed.
• Adhere to strict infection control protocols and safety standards.
• Prepare and maintain operating room readiness; participate in 40–60 hours of call in a 6-week schedule.
