Job summary

UCSF Health in San Francisco is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Liver Transplant Team overseeing inpatient care for liver transplant patients. You will collaborate with attending surgeons, fellows, residents, pharmacists, and social workers to deliver safe, high-quality care and meet productivity expectations set by leadership.

Ideal candidates will hold a California RN license and NP certification, plus a master’s degree in nursing or DNP, with at least one year of transplant/inpatient

Qualifications

• Graduation from a California Board of Registered Nursing approved or verified school of nursing with a master’s degree in nursing or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
• Minimum of one year of clinical NP experience in transplant/inpatient settings.
• Active California RN license and NP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient care to liver transplant patients under supervision.
• Collaborate with surgeons, fellows, residents, pharmacists, and social workers.
• Meet productivity expectations and participate in team-based care.
• Adhere to UCSF policies and credentialing requirements.
