The position centers on translational liver cancer research and regenerative biology, with emphasis on metabolomics and metabolic flux profiling in a collaborative setting. Candidates should have a strong background in molecular biology and biochemistry, plus experience with mass spectrometry, proteomics, and cancer biology.

Qualifications

• PhD or MD/PhD required.
• Experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, and protein characterization techniques preferred.
• Experience in metabolomics, mass spectrometry, stable isotope tracing, proteomics, or cancer biology highly desirable.
• Strong first author publication record in peer‑reviewed journals is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Conduct translational research in liver cancer and regeneration.
• Perform metabolomic profiling and metabolic flux analyses.
• Collaborate with the Zhu lab and UT Southwestern teams to advance projects.
• Publish findings in peer‑reviewed journals and contribute to grant applications.
