Job summary

Workstream is seeking a friendly server to provide food and beverage service in a fast-paced environment. You will greet guests, take orders, deliver meals, and assist with upselling and service flow while maintaining high standards of hospitality.

Responsibilities include serving alcohol responsibly, maintaining cleanliness, and working as part of a team to ensure guest satisfaction; prior experience is a plus, but a positive attitude and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and verbal communication are required.
• Mobility is required during the entire shift.
• Transports and carries objects up to 15 pounds regularly.
• Ability to wipe down tables, legs and booth seats.
• Must obtain or possess a valid food handler's card prior to employment.
• In Oregon must obtain an OLCC license to serve alcohol within 45 days of employment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Delivers food and drinks to guests.
• Provides responsible service of alcohol to guests.
• Greets guests, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food, drinks, and services.
• Interacts with guests to create a friendly atmosphere.
• Relays orders to bar and kitchen via POS system.
• Observes guests and responds to requests.
• Presents guest check, processes payments, and makes change as needed.
• Participates in cleaning and resetting dining tables.
• Completes cleaning tasks and side work duties.
