This position is in Cargill's protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.

Job Purpose and Impact

The Live Haul Fleet & Transportation Coordinator will conduct moderately complex and varied fleet management activities for a small fleet of the transportation equipment and operators. In this role, you will conduct moderately complex fleet operations, data management, research and analysis, safety and compliance.

Key Accountabilities

  • Coordinate fleet inspections on transportation equipment and report issues to supervisor.
  • Analyze transportation and distribution systems and procedures to ensure efficient and economical delivery.
  • Help with regulatory safety and compliance areas, such as driver and operator orientation, compliance reports, equipment maintenance and records and safety training.
  • Help coordinate inbound and outbound logistical operations.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience
  • MS office proficiency
  • Ability to work Saturdays as needed by the business
