Carlsen Mooring LLC seeks an experienced Ship Captain to oversee crew, safety, and cargo deliveries aboard vessels 80–140 feet operating out of Corpus Christi and Texas ports. Liveaboard, 14/7 schedule, with travel as needed. Responsible for training, maintenance, and regulatory compliance.

You must hold a USCG 100 Ton Master license (minimum), TWIC, and U.S. Coast Guard medical cert, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• 5-10 years of experience in maritime operations or captaincy.
• Hazard Awareness Training.
• Valid Driver’s License and TWIC.
• USCG certifications as listed in requirements.

Responsabilités

• Operate and navigate vessels 80-140 feet safely.
• Lead, train, and supervise crew; ensure proper staffing.
• Maintain vessel and diesel/generator systems; oversee maintenance.
• Complete pre/post departure checks; maintain logs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety protocols.
• Manage cargo and passenger deliveries; direct rigging and loading operations.
• Oversee risk assessments and incident reporting.
• Emergency response readiness (firefighting, flooding, man overboard).
