Job summary

CONFLUENCE ACADEMY is seeking a Virtual Classroom Instructional Facilitator for the Old North Academy site in Saint Louis, MO. This full-time role supports a remote teacher by managing the in-class virtual learning environment and student engagement.

The facilitator works with the instructional team to reinforce instruction, monitor participation, and manage materials and technology while ensuring a safe and productive classroom experience for students.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or above is required.
• BA or BS preferred.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and manage materials and technology.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the virtual teacher to review lesson objectives and ensure preparedness for instruction.
• Facilitates student engagement during virtual instruction and monitors participation.
• Provides teacher-directed instructional support for individual and small groups.
• Maintains classroom routines and ensures a structured learning environment.
• Troubleshoots routine technology issues to minimize disruptions.
• Maintains accurate records of attendance, participation, and student progress.
• Communicates regularly with the virtual teacher regarding student needs and progress.
• Ensures safe and supportive learning environment and reports concerns as required.
