Job summary

QVC Group in West Chester, PA is seeking a Production Artisan/Scenic Carpenter to build and install sets and props for live shopping environments. You’ll work onsite with a team, handling materials from wood to plastics and painting, and you’ll support sign production and show load-ins/strikes.

Requires 2+ years in set construction or related fields, a Bachelor’s degree in a related art field or equivalent, and proficiency with AutoCAD/Vectorworks; on-site benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with set construction or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree in a related art field, television production or equivalent.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD/Vectorworks/3D printing or related tools is valued.

Responsibilities

• Construct scenery using diverse materials and techniques (wood, metal, plastics, foam).
• Paint scenery with industry-standard methods.
• Manage sign production using Gerber, CNC, Photoshop; load-ins/strikes for shows.
