Job summary

WTVT-FOX 13 in Tampa is seeking a three-day-a-week reporter and weekend streaming host for a streaming-first news environment. You will innovate, write, and deliver compelling content across platforms, from the linear newscast to a breaking news live stream.

As a streaming host, you’ll go beyond the script to fuel conversations, connect with audiences, and bring curiosity and personality to every story while producing and hosting weekend streaming coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a reporter and anchor.
• reel showing ability to shoot, edit and produce content is a plus.
• Not an entry-level role or for candidates without a news background.

Responsibilities

• On-Air Presence: present stories live in-studio and from remote locations, owning final content and delivery.
• Linear & Streaming Expert: produce and present extended, unscripted live content for newscasts and live streams.
• Digital & Social First: write sharp copy for digital sites and maintain an active social media presence.
