Job summary

NBCUniversal in West Hartford, CT is seeking an APC Operator to direct and operate live and recorded TV news productions using the Ross Overdrive Automated Production Control system. You will coordinate talent, timing, and technical workflows with the Content team in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires hands-on experience with automated production systems, strong calm under pressure, and the ability to work on-site with a high-performing team delivering edge production technology.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
• 1 year experience as a newscast Director and/or Technical Director.
• 1 year experience with Automated Production Control system.

Responsibilities

• Direct and operate live and recorded TV news productions from control rooms, studios and remotes.
• Give direction and timing to talent and technicians during broadcasts.
• Shape the visual and audio presentation with graphics in collaboration with Content team.
• Operate video and graphic playout via Dalet Galaxy and Ross Xpression.
